Welcome to Oakford Trout Farm

Mark holding an example of Oakford trout We are two restocking farms in the Exe Valley in Devon run by the Underhill family who have a long tradition in the fish farming business. We produce about 200 tons of quality restocking fish per annum after buying them in at 50-100 fish to the pound. Our fish sizes range from small to large and there is approximately 250,000 fish on the site.

Each farm has about 16 million gallons of fresh water a day running through it, so each pond has more than 1 million gallons of fresh water flowing which ensures the fish have plenty of oxygen and do not taste earthy.

We have are own transport which can deliver 500lb -2000lb of fish within the South West and South Wales. Further afield loads are taken by fish hauliers to anywhere within the UK. Soon we hope to have are own articulated transport which will be able to carry up to 2 tons anywhere within the country.
